Motorola finally send there new warrior to fight in India’s smartphone market. On 10 July Thursday, Lenovo-owned venture Motorol launch there two new Moto E series smartphones in India, the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5. The Moto E5 is priced at Rs 9,999, while the Moto E5 Plus is priced at Rs 11,999. As no doubt company is promoting Moto E5 for it’s big battery. Moto E-series offers value for money proposition in affordable segment.
You can buy Moto E5 Plus exclusively from Amazon India, it will also be available at Moto Hub. Motorola has a few launch offers on Amazon like flat Rs 800 discount for SBI card holders, no cost EMIs up to 9 months, and more. Moto E5 is also partner with Reliance Jio for offering Jio’s additional data offer of 130GB. Company is also offering Rs 1,200 vouchers on purchases made using Paytm Mall from a Moto Hub outlet or Motorola offline partners.
Moto E5 Plus Specifications
Moto E5 Plus has a 6-inch IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio and HD+ Max Vision (720×1440 pixel) resolution. The key feature of Moto E5 is it’s 5000mAh battery, which deliver for 18 hours of video playback and over 200 hours of music playback. It supports Turbo Charge support that the company claims the carging will complete in 6 hours on 15 minutes.
If we talk about build quality Moto E5 Plus would sport a glossy plastic rear with reflective outlook. The body has a splash-resistant coating to protect it from splashes of water and other liquids. It comes with a fingerprint scanner, camera set-up as well as a Motorola’s logo at the back side of the phone. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. As last week indianexpress.com says, Moto E5 Plus will comes in four colour options — Black, Mineral Blue, Flash Gray, and Fine Gold.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, a quad core processor that runs at a maximum frequency of 1.4Ghz coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It does not offer different storage options, Moto E5 comes with a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. In future if you like to expand the memory you can expand it upto 256GB via a microSD card slot. Good news is that Moto E5 Plus does not come with a boring UI, the smartphone run on the clean stock Android 8.0 Oreo.
In term of optics the devise does not offers a dual camera set-up. On back it has a 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and laser autofocus paired with LED flash. At front there is a 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The connectivity options of MotoE5 Plus include 4G LTE, Dual Nano SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, 3.5mm earphone jack, and Micro-USB port. It offers all the necessory sensors including proximity, accelerometer, ambient light, sensor hub, gyroscope, magnetometer.
Moto E5 Specifications
As compare to E5 plus, the Moto E5 has a lesser display size, it features a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM. There is no compromise in battery if Moto E5 plus offers a 5000mAh, then the Moto E5 offers only a little small 4000mAh battery. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. The colour options available for this phone are – Flash Gray and Fine Gold.
In term of optics it has a a 13-megapixel rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The connectivity options of MotoE5 are same as E5 plus including 4G LTE, Dual Nano SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, the usual sensor array, 3.5mm earphone jack, and Micro-USB port.
