Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will get Android 8.0 Oreo with MIUI 9.5 update

Back in this year in February Xiaomi had launched there new smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which was the squeal of Redmi Note 4. With the price tag at which this smartphone was launched and also with the powerful specification that Redmi Note 5 Pro offers, breaks all the earlier established records of other smartphones and even of Xiaomi’s own.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 was a great success for the company, but one things that make this smartphone looks empty was that it was launched with Android 7.1.2 Nougat  with MIUI 9 skinned on top.

At launched company had announced that the device will be upgraded to Android Oreo soon and keeping there promise, Xiaomi’s has made the announcement of Update through there MIUI India Twitter account.

It means that the update is scheduled to start rolling out from June 29. The update will be rolled out through a OTA method in a phased manner, so you might have to wait a few days to receive it Xiaomi had earlier rolled out the MIUI 9.5 update to some Redmi Note 5 Pro users, but the company had to roll it back as it had many bugs.

Xiaomi haven’t revealed what new feature they are going to offer with the new update, but one thing is sure that the earlier bugs will deferentially going to be fixed. It is also expected that Redmi Note 5 Pro will soon receive the MIUI 10 Global Beta.
