Today in Beijing China Huawei sub-brand Honor launched there much awaited smartphone Honor Note 10. It is the successor to 2016’s Honor Note 8. The key features of the Honor Note 10 is its massive 5000mAh battery setup, big 6.9-inch AMOLED display and GPU Turbo Tech support.
The Honor Note 10 comes in two colour variants the blue-violet interlaced phantom blue and classic night black. It features a massive 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 2160×1080 pixels resolution and aspect ration of 18:9, HDR10 format support, 600 nit peak brightness, 115% NTSC color gamut coverage, and a static contrast ratio of 70000:1. Luckily it doesn’t have that annoying notch at the top.
In term of optics Honor Note 10 offers dual camera set-up, it has a 24-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with AI-powered scene recognition, f/1.8 aperture and coupled up with LED flash module. At front for selfies it has a 13-megapixel camera.
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 on top. Under hood for power there is a HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor with a dedicated NPU for AI tasks with the support of Mali G72 GPU, and i7 co-processor. It has GPU Turbo Tech, CPU Turbo, and Double Turbo mode.
For extreme gaming experience, Honor offers a new button for the gamers called the Turbo button on the phone. On pressing the Turbo button, the phone will perform background intelligent cleaning, while letting the CPU continue to run in the extreme performance state. In addition, the Honor Note 10 comes with a PC-grade liquid cooling system — the Nine liquid cooling technology, which is capable of improving the heat dissipation capacity of the device by almost 41 per cent.
If we talk about pricing Honor Note 10 has been launched in three variants, the base model with 4GB + 64GB comes for a price of 2799 yuan (Rs 28,000 approx), the 6GB + 128GB model for 3199 yuan (Rs 32,000 approx), and lastly the top-end version with 8GB + 128GB is priced at 3599 yuan (Rs 36,000 approx).
Honor Note 10 is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Honor claims that the battery will last almost 17.5 hours of playback time and 15 hours of video playing. It also supports fast charging, The Note 10 offers 5V 4.5A super fast charge, which is capable of delivering up to 2 hours of battery backup with just 10 min of charging. The phablet comes with USB type C support. For security Honor Note 10 also comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
